Toyota Motor Europe announces executive changes
Brussels, 16th May 2024 - Toyota Motor Europe (TME) announces today several executive level appointments at its European headquarters and Affiliates to accelerate the company’s transition to a mobility company, based on the principles of carbon neutrality and sustainability.
Toyota Motor Europe (TME)
Mr Marvin Cooke, EVP Manufacturing will be retiring after 33 years service at TME and Toyota’s European Manufacturing Companies.
“We thank Marvin for his invaluable contribution to both the development of Toyota’s European manufacturing capabilities and people across a period of unprecented transformation in our business activities.” said Yoshihiro Nakata, President and CEO, TME.
Richard Kenworthy, currently TMUK Managing Director, will return to TME and will be promoted to TME Vice President Manufacturing. He will have responsibility over the following TME functions: TME Supply Chain, Production Engineering and Strategy & Business Planning division.
Kohei Yoshida, will be assigned to the position of Chief Engineer Hydrogen Factory Europe. This newly established role underlines Toyota’s continued commitment to accelerate the development and production of Fuel Cell and Hydrogen products and to promote sustainable business in Europe.
European Manufacturing Companies (EMCs)
Koreatsu Aoki, currently TMMCZ President, will be appointed as Executive Advisor to support TMMCZ operations until his retirement in September 2024. “I would like to thank him for his contribution to our European operations for many years. “ said Yoshihiro Nakata.
Robert Kiml will succeed him and be promoted to TMMCZ President effective 1 June 2024, dually assigned to Vice President Production.
Dariusz Mikolajczak, currently TMMP President, will succeed Richard Kenworthy in TMUK and be assigned as Managing Director effective 1 July 2024.
Masayuki Kojima, currently TMMP Manufacturing Vice President, will succeed Dariusz and be appointed as TMMP President effective 1 July 2024. He will be dually assigned as TMMP Corporate Vice President and as Jelcz-Laskowice Plant Director.
