Educational Plant Visits - Burnaston

Our Public Visit Programme is committed to providing local educational institutions with the opportunity to visit our facility. Visits target local universities, colleges, and schools.

Due to production restrictions on the shop-floor, dates for our 2015 Public Visit Programme are yet to be agreed.  However, it is unlikely that visits will recommence before July 2015.
In the meantime, you can register your details on the website and as soon as information becomes available, you will receive an email from us.
Criteria is in place and will target those students who are particularly interested in manufacturing, production or engineering subjects.  Programmes follow a standard format and vary depending on the age of the pupils visiting our plant.   We are, unfortunately, unable to tailor visits to individual requests.

University students (aged 18 and above only) can choose to follow either the Business or Local Community programme.

Please visit the Frequently Asked Questions page to see the programmes for both categories.

Secondary Schools

This particular category targets 14-17 year olds only.  Students make their way into the presentation hall for a brief presentation regarding Toyota's history.  A hands-on activity will then take place highlighting the importance of teamwork within an organisation.  This will then be followed by a visit to the Press & Weld shops on an electric tour train.  Please note that the maximum allocation of 18 places must be filled in order to carry out the hands-on activity.

Dates will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Should you be interested in visiting our facility, please view our public visits page.
